I grew up on a dairy farm just north of Fremont, where I learned early on the importance of hard work and being part of a strong community. After graduating from Bergan High School, I went on to study at Midland Lutheran College—right here in town.

My wife, Marla, and I have raised three great kids who are now married and raising families of their own. We’re lucky to have them close by, and we stay busy (in the best way) keeping up with our eight amazing grandkids. Whether we’re at a game, school event, or just spending time together, family is a big part of our lives.

I’m a proud member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and the Rotary Club. I enjoy staying involved, giving back, and connecting with others in our community.
